A little bit personal

This post is going to be a little bit personal. For all those who don't want to know stop reading...NOW.

Maybe you should know some things about me that changes me completely. I always used to be a very open and happy child. I used to hang around outside all day and played with everybody who wanted to. I had a lot of friends but never that ONE friend I am still looking for. The one friend that's alwas there and that I can talk to when I feel bad.
I changed when I was between 8 or 10. I'm not that sure. I was walking home from school that day when a man came up and asked me for a kiss. Me, as a small kid, never thought of something evil he could do to me so I sayed: "Yes", maybe I shouldn't have sayed that and should have just ran away but otherwise I would be a totally different person right now. That man touched me. I was confused. I can't remember how I got home. I just remember that I ran through our house straight into the garden sat down on a stairs and started crying. I felt guilty. Don't ask me why it's just the way I felt. My brother and one of his friends, they were about 6 or 7, saw what happened and told my mum. She, of course, called the police. They came and together we searched for that guy. I remember when I was sitting in the car and looking for that man. I felt cool....somehow. I just remember that I saw him in a small yard with his pants down urinating at a bush.

Maybe that now has shocked you...well to be honest I am shocked myself that I am able to wright that down.

I don't know what happened to the man. I can hardly remember how he looks like but I think he still lives in the neighbourhood. Anyways. My life continued normal...well my life was normal but I wasn't. I think and believe that my parents didn't really know how to handle the whole situation. We never talked about it. And we still never talk about it. I started to close myself. I wasn't as open as I used to be. After school I went to a small shop, bought me tons of sweets and I ate them at home in secrecy. I gained many many kilogramms which I still struggle with now, 7 years later..! I became fat and lonely as all my friends in school started to ignore me. Just the boys were nice to me. I mean I've always been a tomboy but I lost almost all of my "girlfriends". Then it became time for me to change school. I got into 5th grade and there I had a few friends.
I never thought of that incidence even if it was always there. But one day, after a boy in class bullied me because of my weight and my alieness I had something like a breakdown. I came home and cried. My parents were both worried about me. They always thought I'd coped with that incidence. But haven't. Then the time started where my mum send me to a psychologyst. She was very very nice and I want to thank her for making me feel better.

I still had problems with that one boy at school. He was mean to me but I just ignored him.
Then the time started where I couldn't live without music.
My dad has always been a huge influence on me...musicially. When I was about 6 or so me, my dad and my small brother, he was about 4 then, danced to Green Day's only song I like Basket Case. Both of my parents love U2.
But then came the day my dad bought that one single that changed my life. He had seen blink-182 performing their new single "I miss you" on Top of the Pops. He liked the song so much he bought the single. He liked the single so much he bought their newest album "Untitled" or "blink-182" (depends what you want to have! I refer to it as blink-182).

I listened to the record with my dad in the car and liked it. That was it! He never had his hands on it since! XD. I started listening to them each day. Singing to all the songs. And then there was the last track on the record. It was a live track recorded in Chicago. Anthem II. In the song there is a teeny weeny bass solo. I listened to it, liked it and then asked my dad what instrument that is...don't judge me for not knowing what a bass guitar is! I know it now and I'll never forget...XD! Even my small brother knew it! Then I told my dad I want to quit playing violin and want to start playing the bassguitar. I don't know if he was happy about it..I guess so. But my grandmother wasn't happy about me stop playing the violin...but to be honest I really sucked at it. XD! Then I finally got my bass and learned all the blink-182 very fast. Now throughout all those years my music taste has developed massively. 2006, 3 years after I discovered blink-182, my dad bought Black Holes and Revelations

Since then muse and blink-182 are my life and world.

And now to come back to the beginning of this endless blog I wanted to tell you why I've changed.

About more than 4 weeks ago I was lonely. I listened to Muse or blink-182 or other bands the whole day, played my bass or did something for school. But then I discovered this huge Muse community on the world wide web. In a thread on muse.mu I found this girl that makes those awesome aMUSEd series. I found her on twitter and started following her. When she allowed me to follow her I felt honoured to be able to read her tweets. I really felt honoured...and I still feel.
Anyways a while I read her tweets, cause she tweeted quuite a lot. I mean really a LOT. Then one day she tweeted "Ask me anything www.formspring.com". As curious as I am I went to that page, and found out that you could ask her random stuff. So I just started asking her really stupid, random and dumb questions like: "what is your fave muse song?" :facepalm:
But it wasn't just me asking her questions. There was also a other User with the name Barrel. I started following both of them on twitter. I talked with them a little and then came out DD party. I was invited and felt honoured. I really did. We talked and chatted long...my dad came in a few times to shout at me that I should stop laughing...XD!

I started getting more and more friends on twitter. I finally found my good twin! XD!
You all may not have noticed it, as you all didn't know me before hand. But because of all of you I changed. I became more open. I stopped lying that much...xD! And I am really convinced now that there are people outside in the world that like me. The way I am.

I really must apologize for my last blog entry. It was just horrible. The worst so far. I was just really nervous and didn't concentrate on writing a nice new blog for you. Sorry. <3

So now I'm going to write a proper blog.

I am in the 11th grade in school, out of 13, right now and got to chose my main topics last year in summer. My choices were history, english and german. I'd rather chosen history, english and art, but to my horror you can't have history and a creative subject at my school! >:( So I had to chose german. I really don't like it, but I think the main reason for that is the teacher. She's in her mid-fifties 1,50m and so boring, every one of her lessons is a real torture. She stands in front of the whole class and talks 45 minutes about something nobody really wants to know. But I think that's how teachers are and that's what the have to cope with! Well I know for certain that I don't want to become a teacher for sure.

When I'm finished with school, which only is 2 and a half years, I haven't really got an idea what to do. Maybe I want to study, but actually I want to make music with my band and want to be able to live with the money I earned from that. But I've also got a second plan. I would like to make my master in Audio Engineering. Hardly anyone knows what it's about, so I'll just sum it up for you: You learn how to produce music properly and also how to work with different techniques. But first I have to finish my school education even if I am not really motivated right now and would rather spend my time tweeting with my faithful twitter friends!

This blog is dedicated to all my twitter muse friends! I just wanted to do something nice!

NME Awards

So it's quarter past nine in Germany and the NME Awards haven't really started yet. Me and some friends and also other Musers are having a big Twitter party. So anyway. Nothing else really happened. I was in Cologne or Köln, as we say in german, and discovered that it's a DOM town.

Some more informations. The NME Awards looks pretty cool! I'd love to get one of those.

I hope that Muse will at least win 8 of those.

So tomorrow is Valentine's day and the new Angels & Airwaves record should come out tomorrow but instead it came out one day ago, so on the 12th of February! The great thing about the record is it doesn't cost anything, you can download it AND it's a great record! It could even be the best of AVA, so far.

So I actually wanted to go to Rock am Ring this year, but my mum was a little bit scared that it would be too dangerous with all those drunk people! My dad on the other hand said I should go and he really wanted me to go! He even wanted me to go to the Reading Festival to see blink-182! Maybe I'll go I don't know yet! I'd rather see blink on their tour and not on a festival!
But right now me and my dad want to go to London in September to see Muse at the Wembley Stadium! That would just be crazy with their new light show and everything.

Just imagine that stage in the wembley stadium! WOW!! and all THAT together with muses music! A song like Stockholm Syndrome or maybe just something calmer like Resistance in this Stadium!
And I'd love to see Chris Wolstenholme (Muses bassist btw) slap his basslines to Hysteria and all the other great songs! I'm still learning to perfection Hysteria. Not that far away but still a few hours to practice! that guy's just got gods magical fingers! It's incredible.

First blog for 2010

So it's been a long time since I've written a blog! Sorry for that!

As I told a lot of people during 2008, that something BIG happens in 2009 blink-182, my life and destiny ;P, came back with a big BANG! After almost 4 years of absence they reappeared and right now they're in the studio recording their sixth studio album. Which I can't await.

To all people that live behind the moon I would like to recommend a band which is just EXTRA-ORDINARY!! MUSE.

These three british guys shouldn't just be known as the band from the twilight films! There music is just great, without a doubt! Their newest record THE RESISTANCE

(http://itunes.apple.com/de/album/the-resistance/id326492721) was number one of the album charts in several countries, which is totally justified in my opinion! Those three guys managed to combine classical music with synthesizers and rock.

There is also a fan from Portugal, Ines, she loves to draw pictures and so she created the aMUSEd series.

What else happened? Another band you should check out if you haven't done that already! They're called Taking BAck Sunday and they're pretty good. In my opinion. Their latest record New Again came out I think Summer 09. It's just very very good! You should definitely check it out! Maybe you know a few of their previous records like LouderNow.

October! Already the year is almost over again. And as I said on New Years Eve last year this year was mine! My birthday was on the 20. 09. 2009! See it? So I just said that good things'l happen to me this year! And so far I wasn't wrong. First of all blink-182 came together again!!! That was the best of the best!!! And I'm in the eleventh grade now and haven't got my stupid mathsteacher anymore! Tnahk god! That man was such an asshole! And me an some friends started a band called Antithetic! AND AND AND! SO this years wasn't and still isn't that bad at all. Something else to say or wright?? Ähm.. yeah I decorated my room new! With a big green octopus on one wall and 2 big and ...(have to count)..and 17 small blink-182 posters!! xD!! I know I'm crazy! Do you know wich film you should see?? Wanted! A great film with a lot of action!! See ya!!

So hello you peoples!!!!!

I turned 17 yesterday and it was quite boring! My aunt and 2 of her 4 kids came to visit! And that was it!! Next year I'm gonna have a big party!! I swear! My parents gave me some money so I can buy myself the new iPod with 160GB! Enough space for all my music! Cause up until now I have to cope with an 4GB iPod! Not very much space. Just enough for all the blink-182 albums without the videos!!!!

Sry I have to leave now and go to the gym. At least one hour of sport every second day!! That's the minimum!!

I'll wright more when I'm back! So don't get too excited! XD

Time for a new post!

So now it's time again for a post! It finally happened for what I hoped and waited so long! blink-182 started their tour in Las Vegas yesterday! Even though I won't be able to go to one of those tourdates I was so exciting! And right now I downloaded all the songs they played yesterday! All of them are so good! Especially when they played Not Now (they never played that song before this year!!!!!!!)! I love that song and in my oppinion that's the best song in the whole wide world!!

What else is there to write...well...!

Some songs are very well made some not! But I recommend people who like blink and know their songs to listen to them! Cause it's kinda funny to listen to one song and say! "Ah that part is from I miss you and that from Feeling this!" Or so!

I bet a lot of you people know that song: Hurt by Johnny Cash! I heard it a few weeks ago on KROQ and liked it! Ah KROQ! I live in Germany and here we got radio stations, what a surprise!! But those radio stations all play Popmusic abd R'n'B and that stuff! I am very tolerant with music but it just gets on my nervs when they play the same song over and over again! So my dad thinked the same and bought and satelite radio! Pretty cool! Cause now we can receive radio stations from all over the world! My favourite stations are a german one DasDing!, then a british one KERRANG! and the all-known us-ameican radio station KROQ!

So I started witing this blog 10 and a half ours ago, but I fell asleep! XD!!

Hello there!

The last few days were very very...yeah! Well I just couldn´t wait until today! A lot of people, me included, thought that the new blink-182 single Up all night!! Until now I haven´t heard any news about the song! Ok It´s only 2:00 AM here in Germany and in the states it´s only 6AM! I think so at least! Well I have to wait then even longer! But I don´t want to! You guys just have to follow me on Twitter and you will see at my Updates that I´m very desperate to listen t their new single! But tomorrow the Tour starts in Las Vegas! I don´t know when but I will follow EVERYTHING!! All the news and updates and videos that a lot of fans will hopefully upload on Youtube or so! It´s insane how my whole life in the moment is about blink-182! OK it's been like that for now over 5 years but it's getting more and more intense now! I think thats because of the new tour and album and how I hoped for 3 years that they'll come back together!

Hi! It´s me again!

I´m just watching the big Michael Jackson Home coming party!! Just my thought! I mean he was a very big artist but aren´t they just speaking him holy? I mean nothing about having a memorial party or home coming but I mean most of the people there didn´t know him and how can you morn him??

Now back to something more exciting! I really can't wait to listen to the first new blink song! Today I just looked at one of the blink websites http://blinkdisasters.com/ and didn´t close the window and so a "secret" video started there where the big shadow picture is! If I would have seen the video when there was still the HIATUS it would´ve made me very sad! But now........! Yeah! I can´t wait to see them!!!! Time´s coming!!!

Now to something different again! Well it stays in music but still!XD I´m still searching for my perfect bandmates! I´ve got some guys who would be perfect but...well..y´know!

The first song is, somehow a very sad but also a very hope-giving song! The man who wrote the song wrote it after his daughter was born. She was sick and in a incubator. You have to know the history of the song and the text to love it!

The second song. Yeah, I saw it first on TV and liked it! Nothing more to talk about it actually! I, especially like the strings at the start and then how the guitar, drums and bass come in! Sounds a little bit HARDER. I don´t really understand the concept of the video! Twins! Does the guy know that they´re twins! I mean they wear something totally different and still both of them are pissed off!! Strange!! Well..?!!

And the last song is from a british band! I listened to Kerrag!Radio on Monday and heard this song, liked it and downloaded it! I love the beatdifferences in this song! First it´s slow and then it´s fast, slow, fast and so on! I love it when the singer, in the video, scrubs his shoulder and sings."Give me the cold shoulder". Dunno why it´s just cool!

What else to say or write?! Yeah, last week I listened almost the whole time to Oasis! I really started to love them about half a year ago, when I watched a Liverpool game they played one song and I loved it! I think it was "The Turning"! "She is love" is a very good song! And maybe you recognised that I mentioned football! I love football! For the americans soccer (even it doesn´t make any sence for them to call american football football!! You don´t use your foot that often!! And you ONLY use your foot in european football)! My favourite teams are Liverpool, Arsenal, VfB Stuttgart, Wolfsburg and of course 1.FCKAiserslautern. And I am a great Spain Fan! So I support them for winning the world cup for the first time!

My first Post

Hi! My name is Mac!

This is my first post and hopefully not my last! XD

I live in Germany and still go to school!!

The most importat thing in my life is music! My favourite band is blink-182 so this year has been better than I expected. I was one of the few people that were sure that blink will come back together! Believe me! I can show you some diary entries and the date and everything. Now I just can´t wait to listen to their new song and to see them live in Germany next year.

I play bass for more than 4 years now and I´m in a band! Well I´d rather be in a different band with different people but I haven´t found MY soulmates and bandmembers yet! Cus making music is my dream and will be my job! I can´t imagine something different!
